The Ottawa Police Service has identified the victim of a fatal stabbing incident in the St. Laurent Boulevard area. Identified as 21-year-old Joshua Qiyuk, the victim was discovered deceased at Meadow Park Place on Wednesday morning. Initially considered “criminally suspicious,” the police have now officially classified the death as a homicide resulting from a stabbing.
Authorities are urging individuals with any information related to the incident to come forward. They are particularly interested in obtaining dashcam footage from individuals who may have been in the vicinity of Aviation Parkway between Hemlock and Montreal roads from 7 p.m. on Tuesday to 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
