Police have arrested a 73-year-old woman from LaSalle, Ontario, following a collision involving a vehicle at a Zehrs supermarket on Malden Road earlier this week. The LaSalle Police reported that the incident occurred on Monday afternoon when an SUV crashed into the front windows of the store, striking a 42-year-old man from Windsor who was present inside.
The man sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly taken to the hospital for treatment. Subsequently, authorities announced on Thursday that the woman is facing charges of careless driving causing bodily harm and will need to appear in court on a later date.
