In just 100 days, the 25th Winter Olympics will kick off in Milan-Cortina, Italy. Canadian audiences can look forward to extensive coverage with 22 hours of daily broadcasts, expert analysis, and on-demand highlights from February 6-22, courtesy of CBC/Radio-Canada.

Chris Wilson, the general manager of Olympics for CBC/Radio-Canada, emphasized the commitment to providing real-time coverage to ensure fans catch every medal moment. Marie-Philippe Bouchard, president, and CEO of CBC/Radio-Canada expressed pride in Canadian athletes and the anticipation of sharing their achievements with viewers nationwide.

With over 2,000 hours of live content spread across various platforms, CBC’s comprehensive English-language coverage will feature broadcasts from all venues capturing every medal-winning moment.

Audiences can tune in to CBC and the free streaming service CBC Gem for coverage. The CBC’s website, cbc.ca/milanocortina2026, will offer full event schedules, results, highlights, athlete profiles, daily updates, and more.

Approximately 2,900 athletes from 93 countries will compete in the most geographically dispersed Games in Olympic history, spanning the Italian Alps from Milan to the Austrian and Swiss borders.

For those on the go, the CBC News app’s Olympic section offers coverage on mobile devices. Additionally, CBC Sports will engage audiences with an exclusive digital series on various social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.
