“Trump Approves New US-Canada Pipeline Permits”

U.S. President Donald Trump has approved a series of pipeline permits, including one for the construction of a new pipeline to support the transportation of crude oil and petroleum products between the United States and Canada. The White House documents confirm the issuance of the permit to the Bakken Pipeline Company for pipeline facilities in Burke County, North Dakota.

In addition to the new pipeline construction permit, other permits have been granted for the maintenance and operation of existing pipelines at border locations. These include permits for the Bakken Pipeline Company to maintain and operate pipeline facilities in Burke County, North Dakota, Enbridge Energy to manage facilities in St. Clair County, Michigan, and Enbridge Energy to oversee operations in Pembina County, North Dakota.
