In the upcoming East Division final on Saturday, the focus will be on quarterbacks Bo Levi Mitchell and Davis Alexander, while running backs Stevie Scott III and Greg Bell will also play crucial roles. Scott impressed with 133 yards and two touchdowns in Montreal’s recent win over Winnipeg, leading the Alouettes’ strong rushing performance against a tough Blue Bombers defense. The two teams will clash at Hamilton Stadium, with the winner earning a spot in the Grey Cup on Nov. 16 in Winnipeg.

Bell, who ran for 1,038 yards this season, had a standout game against Montreal earlier, rushing for a career-high 156 yards and a touchdown. Mitchell led the CFL in passing yards and touchdowns during the regular season, playing a key role in Hamilton finishing atop the standings.

Alexander, with an unbeaten record in his CFL starts, has been a driving force for Montreal. Despite Hamilton winning both matchups against Montreal this season, Alexander’s absence in those games could impact the upcoming clash. Montreal’s defense, led by standout players like Darnell Sankey and Tyrice Beverette, has been formidable, ranking high in various defensive categories.

Hamilton’s offense boasts top receivers and a strong running game, especially after Bell’s impressive performance against Montreal. The Ticats defense, while facing challenges, excels in creating turnovers and capitalizing on them. Kicker Marc Liegghio adds another dimension to Hamilton’s strengths, especially in the challenging windy conditions at Hamilton Stadium.

In the West Division final, B.C. Lions will face Saskatchewan Roughriders, with the Lions riding a seven-game winning streak. Saskatchewan, known for their strong defense, will look to contain the Lions’ potent offense led by quarterback Nathan Rourke. Saskatchewan’s offense, guided by veteran quarterback Trevor Harris, presents a balanced attack that can challenge the Lions.

For this matchup, the prediction leans towards Hamilton in the East Division final and Saskatchewan in the West Division final.
