Abigail Spanberger, a Democrat, emerged victorious in Virginia’s gubernatorial race, as reported by The Associated Press, NBC News, CBS News, and Fox News. Spanberger, a 46-year-old former congresswoman and CIA officer, will make history as Virginia’s first female governor after comfortably defeating Republican Lt.-Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears.
