Prince Harry playfully mentioned during a visit to a veterans’ center in Toronto that he felt “under duress” when he wore a Los Angeles Dodgers hat at a recent World Series game against the Blue Jays. The Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, were spotted at Dodgers Stadium in Los Angeles during Game 4 of the Fall Classic, both donning the home team’s cap.
While at Sunnybrook Hospital’s veterans center, the staff presented Prince Harry with a Toronto Blue Jays hat as a gift. In a light-hearted moment, he quipped that he had no choice but to wear the Dodgers cap at the World Series, where the Blue Jays eventually lost in Game 7.
During his two-day visit to Toronto ahead of Remembrance Day, Prince Harry also received an army helmet painted by residents and a book featuring stories of centenarian veterans. His previous visit to Canada was in February for the Invictus Games in British Columbia.
Prince Harry and Meghan briefly resided in Canada before relocating to the U.S. in 2020. In the same year, the couple announced their decision to step back from their roles as senior royals. Subsequently, Buckingham Palace confirmed that Harry and Meghan would not be resuming their previous positions as working members of the Royal Family.
