Marwa Abu Eita shared her journey of moving to Regina from Dubai in 2023. While crossing an intersection, she faced a near-fatal accident that made her reevaluate her fast-paced life in Dubai. Juggling work and family in Dubai left her little time for personal connections and self-care. The accident served as a wake-up call, prompting her to prioritize her well-being and family over a hectic lifestyle.

The impact of the accident left Marwa with physical injuries, forcing her into a period of recovery and reflection. During this time, she discovered the beauty in slowing down and spending quality time with her son. This unexpected pause from her busy routine led her to appreciate the value of simplicity and family time.

Upon relocating to Canada, particularly Regina, Marwa found solace in the peaceful environment and emphasis on work-life balance. Embracing a slower pace of life allowed her to witness her children grow and cherish the small moments that make life meaningful. She now encourages her children to value the present and embrace life’s simple joys.

Marwa’s journey taught her the importance of mindfulness, gratitude, and resilience. She no longer measures her worth by productivity but by the depth of her experiences. Each day is a reminder of the second chance life has given her, inspiring her to live intentionally and appreciatively.

From the chaos of Dubai to the tranquility of Regina, Marwa’s perspective on life has evolved, emphasizing the significance of inner peace and cherishing every moment. Her story serves as a testament to the transformative power of slowing down, connecting with loved ones, and finding joy in life’s simplicity.
