“Ceasefire Fragility: Gaza’s Tenuous Peace”

Israel and Hamas have adhered to a ceasefire for the past 10 days, facilitating the repatriation of hostages and prisoners to various locations, including Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank. Additionally, much-needed aid has been delivered to the famine-stricken Gaza region since the agreement was brokered.

Despite this temporary peace, the ceasefire remains unstable, with doubts lingering over the possibility of a lasting resolution to the conflict. Following allegations by Israel of Hamas militants firing at IDF troops in Rafah, Israeli airstrikes targeted southern Gaza. Hamas, however, has refuted these claims.
