The renowned musician and reality TV personality has now become a devoted follower of the United States bobsled and skeleton program. Recently appointed as the official hype man for USA Bobsled and Skeleton, Flav expressed his excitement to join the team at the upcoming Milan-Cortina Olympics in February, likening the partnership to a blessing.
During his time with the bobsled and skeleton teams in Park City, Utah, Flav eagerly participated in the activities. He braved the bobsled track and even ventured into skeleton sliding, where top athletes can reach speeds exceeding 129 km/h. Despite initial safety precautions suggesting a lower starting point, Flav insisted on a more challenging start, eventually hitting 108 km/h on his second attempt.
U.S. skeleton athlete Dan Barefoot praised Flav’s adventurous spirit and natural talent for the sport, highlighting his exceptional performance as a first-time slider.
