Kelly Clarkson finds herself in a costly dispute with a Brooklyn store over a mechanical bird, as the co-owner of Art of Play decides to list the bird, named “Molly,” for a staggering $15 million. The store’s co-owner, Adam Rubin, intends to sell “Molly,” designed by Bliss Kolb, for the hefty sum amidst the ongoing clash with the popular singer.

Rubin also revealed plans to reward each shop employee with $15,000 and offer Kolb $1 million if the bird gets sold, with the remaining funds slated for the purchase of other antique automata. Despite attempts to reach Art of Play for verification, CBC News has not received a response on the matter.

The escalating saga has captured widespread attention online, marking a significant jump from the $15,000 price tag Clarkson initially mentioned upon her visit to the store on October 10. Rubin expressed concerns over the safety of the shop due to the intensified foot traffic and backlash from Clarkson’s fans.

Footage captured Clarkson’s shopping experience at the store, where she was seen browsing and interacting with the staff. The dispute first arose when Clarkson alleged she was treated poorly during her visit, sparking a back-and-forth exchange between her and the store on social media platforms.

The online debacle has triggered a wave of reactions from users on social media platforms, with various perspectives on the incident circulating widely. As the dispute continues to unfold, the clash between Clarkson and Art of Play has become a focal point of discussion, with opinions divided on the matter.
