The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade commenced in New York City, featuring new balloons like Buzz Lightyear and Pac-Man soaring through the sky, alongside classic floats such as Tom Turkey parading the streets. The event, which started on Manhattan’s Upper West Side and ended at Macy’s Herald Square flagship store on 34th Street, showcased a total of 34 balloons, 28 floats, 11 marching bands, and various performers. Spectators from balconies marveled at the Stuart the Minion balloon as it floated by, while others reacted with excitement as they watched the parade unfold. Notable appearances included the new Mario balloon by Nintendo, music artist Shaggy performing on the Jennie-O float, and the Derpy Tiger balloon from “KPop Demon Hunters” gliding through the sky. Santa Claus aboard his sleigh, Spider-Man by Marvel, and the Labubu float from Pop Mart were also among the highlights of the festive procession. Throughout the parade route, onlookers inside buildings caught glimpses of the larger-than-life balloons passing by, adding to the joyous atmosphere of the event.
