The search for a suspected missing foreign aircraft near Nuuk, Greenland has been halted for the night. Naviair, a government-owned air traffic service provider, was informed on Saturday at around 4 p.m. local time about a small, single-engine aircraft that had disappeared.

Naviair, working in conjunction with the Arctic Command and local law enforcement, has dedicated the day to locating the missing aircraft. Due to poor visibility and adverse weather conditions, the search has been called off for now. However, Naviair intends to resume the search tomorrow morning.

No additional information regarding the aircraft’s origin or the individuals on board was provided by Naviair.
