“Canadian Screen Awards Kick Off with Children’s TV Winners”

Canadian Screen Awards week has begun with the announcement of winners at the Children’s Television Awards in Toronto. The event marked the first of six ceremonies, recognizing 16 winners in various categories. Notable winners include Josette Jorge for Best Supporting Performer in children’s or youth programming, Will Arnett for Best Voice Performance in “Super Team Canada,” and Katie Boland for Best Direction in children’s or youth programming for “Macy Murdoch — Tick, Tick, Gone.”

Other winners include “Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood” for Best Pre-school Program or Series, “Odd Squad” for Best Lead Performer in children’s or youth category, and “Super Team Canada” for Best Animated Program or Series. The event showcased a diverse range of talents and programs, celebrating excellence in Canadian children’s television.
