In Dawson Creek, a town in northern British Columbia, criminal activities have surged, leading to a wave of violence and unsolved homicides. Arron Linklater, a long-time cocaine dealer, has witnessed the town’s transformation from a farming community to an oil-and-gas hub, fueling an increase in drug use and crime. The town has experienced 13 unsolved homicides in four years, with 11 occurring since January 2023.

The local justice system has struggled to combat the escalating criminal activities, with many cases remaining unresolved. Residents, like Laura Lambert, demand action to rid the town of drug dealers and bring peace back to the community. Rumors and fear grip Dawson Creek, with threats circulating on social media warning against speaking out.

The situation worsened with the killings of individuals like Adam Roy Isley, Tina Nellis, Darylyn Supernant, and Renee Supernant Didier, all connected to the town’s underworld. Tanner Murray, a notorious figure in Dawson Creek, has been linked to several crimes but remains uncharged in the homicides. The police face challenges in gathering concrete evidence to bring perpetrators to justice.

Despite efforts to address the crime wave, the town continues to grapple with violence and instability. Linklater, a central figure in the town’s drug trade, tragically became a victim himself, turning the spotlight on the pervasive criminality plaguing Dawson Creek. The search for justice remains a daunting task for law enforcement, as the community grapples with the aftermath of a string of unresolved homicides.
