Tory succeeds Jeffrey Remedios, who held the chair position since 2021. Remedios commended TIFF and its leadership, stating his enduring pride in his contributions to the festival’s evolution. Additionally, TIFF disclosed the addition of three new board members, Deborah Flint, David Furnish, and Daniel Tisch Echevarría. Meanwhile, Asha Daniere, a board member for nine years, is stepping down, prompting TIFF to express gratitude for her dedicated service and valuable contributions.
